- Tracking: This teaches observation skills by teaching students to observe their changing surroundings. (not actually tracking animals)
- Who Am I?: This game challenges students guessing skills and knowledge of plants and animals.
- Nature Bingo: Take a walk through the woods and play a classic game of Bingo!
- Underwater Bingo: Take a look under the surface of the Pend Orielle River and play a classic game of Bingo!
- Bird Scavenger Hunt: Test your knowledge of our winged friends as you search for evidence of their habitats.
- Meadow Scavenger Hunt: Take a look beneath the tall grass and see a whole new world!
- Underwater Scavenger Hunt: Search the underwater world for new and exciting surprises!
- Paint Chip Hike: You might be surprised to find a natural match for your colors as you view the canvas of nature.
- Alphabet Hike: A-Z there is something in nature that matches every letter. See how many you can find!
- Silent Hike: Take a moment to observe the peace of nature and the beauty of creation. Follow the cards that lead you though a relaxing trip though the wondrous woods.
- Sun Painting: Create a masterpiece using nature! Find flowers, leaves, rocks, whatever you want and watch the sun capture the magic!
- Rock Necklace: Take a rock and make it into a beautiful necklace!
- Stick Frames: Use nature to frame your friends, or your nature masterpiece!
- Soundscape: Use your imagination to try to figure out what sounds look like!
- Meet A Tree: Use all your senses to get to know your forest friend!
- Geocaching: Learn to use GPS coordinates and find a treasure!
- Nature Hike: Come and see some of the natural animals and learn lots of information about the Colville National Forest and its surroundings.
- Firebuilding: Learn how to safely gather materials and start a fire in the woods!
